The bolt pattern for the Can Am and the Talon are the same.....but the lug it self is a different thread on the Talon than a Can Am thread. So the same bolt pattern will work but if the spacer you have has CanAm lugs then the lug nut for your Talon will not fit.

The spacers I ordered from RB3 was for a Talon and the lugs nuts fit fine, the lug nuts that came with the wheels fit the spacers fine as well.I imagine if you were to order spacers for a Can Am, then you would have an issue. Order Talon specific parts when you order anything.

Yep. That's what I am saying. My cousin and I ordered spacers at different times from different manufacturers. The manufacturers claimed they were Honda Talon spacers in a 4x136 spacing. So the manufacturer did claim they were Talon spacers because they do fit the 4x136 bolt pattern. When they came in I went to bolt them up and the threads were threads for a Can-Am. The box said Honda Talon. My cousin had the same issue. That's why I'm simply saying beware of which ones you order because manufacturers will claim that they are for a Honda Talon but what they don't realize is that they have Can-Am lugs in them. The only way I know that is because it's happened to me twice now. I returned them and they simply said sorry and refunded my money. Glad they refunded my money but it was a pain. And both times we ordered specific Honda Talon spacers. The RB3 ones and the Dragonfire ones that I have now do have the Honda Talon lug nuts in them.

Those are two good name brands and I wouldn't be afraid to use any of their products. I use Dragonfire harnesses, they are a little stiff but seem to be well made.

Wheel spacers should be avoided if possible. It puts extra strain on everything. Wont be the end of the world so not a huge issue. I think the Can Am lug posts are 10mm and the talon are 12mm. So you need to make sure you get the 12mm posts for your lug nuts to work and be stronger. I bought spacers but was told not to do them from one of the top builders.

I'm newer to this aspect of wheels and riding. When you say lug posts, are you referring to the studs?
And if someone is using wheels with a large offset could it be that the spacers are just putting them back to a stock configuration?

Yes I am talking about the lugs. Honda went to 12mm because other brands were using 10 and breaking them. People are using spacer because they are putting wheels that stick out farther in the front so to match in the rear you need to space it. Any time you add more mounting surfaces it weakens things. So pushing the wheels out from the face of the hub by large offsets or by spacers is not good. Not the end of the world but you will never find wheel spacers on any legitimate race vehicle unless needed for some crazy reason.

I run 2" front and back on the Talon and 1.5 in front of Teryx and 2" on back -- both are lifted and they are a mix ot RB3 and SuperATV. Never a problem with either. Purchased RB3 when SuperATV was out! No worries with either -- SuperATV is a bit less expensive.
