Due to several stalling issues I was wondering if the Talon has a test port like my cars have to see if there are any troubleshooting codes? And will the one for my car work?

Yes, but you can't purchase the Honda device that plugs into the port. No, I don't know where it's located.
But I've had a number of incidents when the i-4WD light came on. My Dealer's Service Coordinator told me to just bring the Talon by. No need for an appointment. They'll just plug the test device
in and tell me what's going on...and go from there.
I think this will work for me!

You know, it would be fantastic of you to post what we should purchase. How much it costs and whether the instructions are good enough to learn how to use it for diagnosis, clearing codes, etc.
Having just turned 70, i have no desire to change the program. But I would like to be able to learn what my Talon is doing and what the warning lights mean by using a diagnostic reader. Make sense?
Would sure appreciate your help!

No offense but you sound like a teenager that wants everything handed to them without doing any work. 1st tuning software doesn’t come with “instructions”. Diagnostics don’t come with “instructions”. If you want all those answers you need to put in some effort to research. I don’t mind aiding but I’m not going to spoon feed anyone

whoa there, his 1st comment was misinformation that I corrected.
2nd I will quote from post # 4
Whether you can purchase aftermarket devices that will plug into the port and allow you to do tuning, etc. I really couldn't care less.
It's not something I'm going to do. "
Then turns right around in post #6 and contradicts post #4 so maybe you should do a little reading before being a smartass. "no offense"
I don't mind helping but no tuning interface and software on this planet comes with any instructions other than setup. You have to have a desire to research, pay for instruction and dedicate the time to learn. its just math and common sense and you can build calculators to do the math and build histograms to report the error's. I am 50 years old and just learned all this in the past 2 years so age is not an excuse

Well, I'm an old guy, 70 this past Tuesday.
I don't have any desire to do anything with a plug in device other than see the cause of an error and know how to clear errors.

I'm surprised someone would sell a device that will allow one to completely revise the ECU program....and expect the buyer to know how to do everything...before purchasing.

You don't need to spoon feed anyone. Having to do that is something I won't do, except for a good friend. I was just wanting to learn some before purchasing. Asking about where you purchased yours seems reasonable. Did you buy it from someone that just sells them. Or did you purchase yours from someone having expertise in using it? Is that a big deal?

I shall not bother your again. No questions, no requests for help from you.

I purchaesd my hptuners MPVI 2 Thru hp tuners because I had the desire to learn to tune my street car as I wasn't getting what I wanted from tuners. tuner comes with all the neccessary software for reading, writing , and data logging with some diagnostics baked in. I purchased courses from evans performance academy to learn to tune. my car makes a safe 900 rwhp with probably another 2-300 hp left before the blower is maxxed out. HP tuners started supporting sxs community and sells an adapter cable that hooks to my mpvi2 interface and talon diagnostic port. the same software works with the talon but you have to run the beta version. I just happened to find this info on their forum
