If you are trailering your Talon and there is a strong cross/head wind(had 50+ mph gusts on I-40 west between Gallup NM & Flagstaff AZ), watch the front cover. Mine had popped up out of the 2 rubber push grommets on one side and was flexing quite a bit. I finally stopped and pulled it off and put inside the truck. I don’t think it could have flown off, but it could’ve cracked. Ride safe, Pikester

Was it hooked on the front tabs?
Yeah, front tabs both hooked and the back latches were good. Wind was catching it right under the edge and lifting it up. I’m sure it couldn’t have blown off, but I didn’t want to risk cracking it.

I have not had a problem, but met another Talon owner who lost a hood while trailering and they knew another Talon owner who had one blown off as well.

This happened to me once. I took it off and put it back on. Never happened again. Maybe check you are putting it on correctly. I find I have to really muscle mine on there to get it to sit down correctly.
