So here’s a good one for you guys. Was out late at night with some buddies and noticed my back end didn’t feel tight while making turns. Drove it back to the house checked everything over, shook a few things and was almost positive it was a wheel bearing. Took it to the shop the next day and waited for them to call me back with their diagnosis. Come to find out I had two whee bearings go lol Honda said I was the first case of this issue. All is good now! They replaced it under warranty. Just thought I’d share my first hiccup.
Hey Sean, getting ready to buy one. which year and model do you have? What type of riding do you do and how many miles on it when you had that? Glad to hear the warranty worked good!
I have a 2019 talon x. Probably around 500 miles on the machine. I do ride it pretty aggressively, going up 90 foot hills on steep inclines, some jumps here and there but mostly trails, quarry and pit riding.
Other then the whee bearings going which I’m sure it a first year problem, the talon has done everything I’ve asked it to do. Engine runs strong through every gear, no trans slips or any hiccups.
