Springs were from Bandit.
Springs were from Bandit.
Forward A arms from SuperATV along with bushings are on the way -- best way to get bigger tires under a Tallon 1000x ( in my opinion), also Winch was from SuperATV and I would recommend you pick up the Winch kit as well unless you already have the items already. I chose the 5000 lb one and would recomment at least 4500 lb as a minimum if you will ever pull an ATV/UTV from a mud pit.
Just purchased Warrior Slick Rock 35x10x15s to the list from SuperATV. Should be fun getting them to fit.
Thanks for the write up. I'm picking my Talon up this week and need to start on the accessorizes part. I watched a video on YouTube about changing the front and rear tender springs to Bandit or some other kind. So that will be one of the first things I do.

One of the best upgrades was the shift gate, not expensive, an boy does it make an improvement you do not have to look down to shift into reverse. First time you ride you will know exactly why.

Do have fun and be safe.

The stock shift gate has been a pain in the ass, especially when riding in the dark. Going to order me one right meow! Thanks man. Also looking to pick up a exhaust system and turner. Did you notice a difference in power after changing exhaust in your rig?

Shift gate is a plus. Make sure to take your time and stop dead still when changing from H to L or vice versa. I did notice a difference with hi performance exhaust and tuner. Tuner gives you ability to modify a lot of things. You may have to purchase a tune unless you tune Talons on a regular basis. Hope this helps a bit

I definitely know the importance of coming to a stop before shifting. I have always even done this in my pick up as good practice. I am definitely not a Talon tuner but plan on getting the hmf full exhaust with the power vision 3 with the hmf canned tune.

That is all meant to go to together and you should have no problem at all with that tune. I added a throttle body intake and snorkel and went with the Stage 3INT +11 HP Full Exhst / Intake mod tune from pwrTune. No worries your tune is spot on I actually bought the tuner from HMF and added the tune. It has worked well for me. The power vision 3 is one if not the best tuner for our rides. Very easy to do log files. Start the file and run up gears and stop file. Do a couple they you can pull all of the information. I picked up a Wide Band at the same time I ordered the HMF exhaust and they placed the bung in it for free. That just allows you to look at the Air to Fuel ratio in addition to all of the information from the onboard computer. Have fun, you purchased a very fine exhaust and tuner. In my humble opinion one if not the best especially for the Honda Talon.

Bluedog1210 What did you set your preload at on your shocks after install of the bandit spring tenders? Just installed mine this week and set the front at 5" and the rear at 4" because I seen that on youtube. Bandit had no info with my springs to set at. I rode yesterday 62 miles and really did not notice much difference on the stutter bumps. Thanks for any info you could give me.
5” front and 4” rear is what my bandit paperwork stated - just double checked it
