Has anyone changed out there tires; at the dealer, they said they could put on 32 inch wheels. I had not read about the 32” til today, heard they may overheat the talon if driving at high speeds? Any recommendations on tires or are the stock tires worth keeping?

I appreciate that, almost picked them up a few weeks ago, would definitely like to hear how they work
I got the 32inch kevlar terrabites mounted and WOW, the Talon was made for 32's. I have seen lots of pics of The Talon with 32 tires but the pics don't do it justice. I took it out yesterday for a short test ride but it was on fairly flat trails and did not do any rock crawling or hill climbs but was very happy with the ride quality and power seems to be about the same until you get into 4th in high range and then it feels like it falls off just a bit but one of the things i was most intrested in testing was if the clutch would kick out at a higher speed due to the larger tire. With the stock tires i could go down to 3 mph in high range and 2 mph in low range before the clutch would kick out ( on my YXZ SS it is 6 mph) so i tested it with the 32 inch tires and found NO CHANGE AT ALL which I really like. The Talon handles 32's really well. and theoretically i expected to go from 13 inches of ground clearance to 15 but i have 16 in the front and 15 in the rear and not sure why but i measured the Terrabites and they measure out at 31.7 inches with 20 lbs of pressure. I am now gonna run them with 13lbs. BTW got my tires from Rocky Mountain Atv for $138 on sale!

Thanks for the good info on the high end in high range as well as the low speed stuff.

Did you put them on the Talon wheels (I know several folks doing that but not sure it's right). Were spacers required? I want to do the exact tires but waiting to make sure I do it right (the first time).

Thank you for the information on the 32's. I am looking at putting them on my X4. Do you have any other mods such as a lift kit or forward offset A arms? any issues with rubbing? Thanks
