How well does it hold ice
Its awesome! Its fully insulated to keep ice for a long time, and sealed to keep the inside cool and to keep anything from getting in. Its the same cooler we use on multiple machines, and they've been a huge it! Shoot me a message if you decide to pull the trigger, and I'll get you a little member discount.
I keep hoping someone does a review on the Honda Box 35L. Can you guys do a review? The Honda box is a little larger 35L than yours and fits exactly in half, giving you the other half of the bed for other stuff... They say it has a quick release that pops out so it's not always in your Talon. Does yours have a quick release? Do you guys offer discounts on the Honda Talon Cargo BOX 35L as well? It just seems pricey but on paper it looks smart.

Man, I honestly haven't gotten to see one of the OEM boxes yet. It is pretty convenient having it on one side and having the quick release option. With ours, the brackets are bolted into the bed frame, so there's not vibration. Then, there's just a couple (maybe 8) big thumb crews that are super quick to screw in or screw out for easy removal. Pretty simple. @scottymac , if we get one in with the Honda OE cargo box, I'll get some pics and report back with a comparison.

Here's the install and removal of ours: Talon Cargo Box Instructions.

Oh cool, thanks for the info... It seems every time we stop for lunch we want to find shade, do a hike or move to a cool spot so the cooler needs to go with us, so I bought one of those Otter Box Coolers with the strap/back pack feature that honestly puts anything YETI (100% China based manufacturing) makes to shame. The Otter is super mobile... On larger trips, I have an electric Dometic cooler/freezer that runs on solar power. Both coolers only use half the bed. Thus, for storage, I just need a water proof unit, but it's also sure nice to remove the box and pack extras (i.e drone, cameras, gear) in the house/hotel/condo then load it versus carry everything out to a mounted box on several trips. It is smart your unit is pretty easy to remove.
