I don't think this has been posted up elsewhere, but sorry if it has. I think its excellent for a first generation model and in the future we could see turbocharging and a 4up variant.

Interested to see how the Talon fares without proper lockers. I wonder if this is something that owners are going to do through aftermarket. A 50' trail version would be a great addition imo.

I think the whole reason why they haven't introduced a 50' trail model is because that would make it more prone to tipping. A wider stance helps to keep it planted, even if that does restrict the number of trails it can be taken on.

I think its important to look at what exact purposes people have with these because that will determine what Honda does in the future and what they will be doing going forward.

There have been mentions that Honda may be considering a more trail oriented model sometime next year, but that will be dependent on early sales of the first two. Width restrictions can vary depending on your state and I know some impose a max of 50".

Honda did set a good tone with the community by offering the Ranger as a solid product.

I would say if they don't announce anything else within the next year we'll be stuck with this configuration for some time.

Its not something they should rush to market just to expand their offerings. They've taken the slow approach to introduce a sports sxs and its played to their advantage. Since it looks like they will be building a very limited number of Talons I expect they will sell through everything they produce. Need some video footage of the other colors already.

Honda should indeed rush these to market just to take advantage of the opportunity at hand. I think it also comes down to the economy still being good. If they hold out too long, they might find themselves in a bad economy even with good products.

At least since these are being produced in the U.S we wont have to worry about additional tariffs and taxes. Those are already yielding some huge implications for many new cars.

I agree and these days with the amount of products being outsources it makes for something we can be happy about. Before, being built in America used be popular but now its rare but appreciate when it happens. However I don't expect it to last long with side by sides.

Honda is more American than most of the domestic automakers these days. A lot of there models are built and developed right here in the USA and that's a huge win for them.
