So it seems some powersports publications recently got some hands on time with the Talon and have already begun to share their initial impressions. They found it be very predictable and flat, with excellent stability. Even though the horsepower is less than some rivals, it pulls very hard thanks to the engines torque.

I also find it odd that Honda has done so little marketing around the Talon. Maybe interest/demand has been high enough already, that they dont see the need. Seems like most dealers are only getting a handful of models.

Honda is one of those brands that don't exactly need marketing all the time. Even new passenger vehicles show up out of no where, leaving me to find out during commutes, seeing some odd vehicle with a very familiar badge.

Few automakers are as well known for build quality and reliability as Honda. A lot of their new products are manufactured directly in the US as well, which is a big thing to buyers.

My issue is that Honda might be cutting back just because they have that reputation and realize consumers will buy regardless. It takes a lot for someone to finally move on and even then they could be in for surprises.
