Shock Therapy and others claim that changing the shim stacks are needed to make the R and X ride better (in addition to new springs, at least for the X). Have any of you distinguished wizards on this forum “Been there, done that” on changing the shims?

Has anyone measured what shim thicknesses and diameters are in the OEM compression and rebound shim stacks?

Any other helpful info?

I'm interested in this as well. I installed 150lb tenders. If I get a set of Schrader valves I may pull my shocks apart remove a compression shim reassemble recharge with nitrogen and see how it rides. I found this video guy talking about it.
