Shift lever issues?

Hey guys! New member here but not new to sxss. Bought the talon yesterday and it ran good for the hour I had it out. Took it out this morning for another hour and now I’m having an issue shifting from high to reverse to park. There’s a lot of tension in the lever. I’ll have to pull up an inch or two and it will go into gear smooth. Has anyone had an issue similar to this?
