Looking to buy the trim piece that the intake hose goes through on right side. Want to install the 2.0 version of S&B and install on unit. 2021 Talon 1000R

So when you purchased the 2.0 version, was it for Honda Talon?

Havent purchased yet. They want to shoe horn us into buying from Honda only and its the older unit. You cant buy the 2.0 version which is supposed to run quieter and get the Honda trim piece for the hose to exit/enter to air filter below.

Worse case, check out rockymountainatv.com. That's where I got mine and it came with the plastic piece you are looking for. It's not the slim version like the picture you showed though. If that's your deal breaker I'm not sure if rocky mountain will have that version. Mine doesn't seem to loud and I don't hear it unless I'm sitting still, and even then it's not much. I have mine mounted up though and cut a pass through for the discharge port to go through the back side of the roof. It's not pretty but I wanted the unit out of the cab, and above the roof line. Maybe that helps with the noise.

Thanks for the response I'm really interested in the 2.0 version the fan speed motor is supposed to be considerably quiet compared to the older version. It increases with speed of unit as explained on YouTube...

at the time I purchased mine, I was told by S&B that it has to be specifically for the Honda Talon and it only comes in 1.0 version and I couldn't get the 2.0. Maybe things have changed since then

No Change just checked with both S&B and the Honda Parts Supplier and no change . Still forcing us to buy into the old technology. Interesting Polaris and CanAm both have access to 2.0 if any change please post. Looking into the KWT possibly we'll see.

My KWT works awesome, very happy with it. I have 3500 miles on my OEM filter and it pretty much looks new yet.

There are other options too. This is an early model, but it works well for me. Doesn't bother my vision and makes zero noise.
