If Honda can produce these quickly enough, there should be a lot of sxs owners who would consider a switch. I'm guessing that red will probably be the more popular of the color options.
On paper its holding up well to most key rivals and I know that first test drives/reviews will probably shine more light on the big advantages it has over competitors. Interest in this segment has really begun to pick up, so their timing is perfect.
It all comes down to investment which Honda has a lot to put in and a lot they've benefited from with ATV's, along with the patience they're know for in bringing out a solid product. Even with a Talon on my list, I still plan on parking up a FourTrax Rancher next to it.
A lot of people forget that Honda already has ATV's using a DCT and the Four Trax is one of them. I'm surprised that we haven't heard any whispers of a 4 seater variant of the Talon. All other rivals have them.
In the coming years its a safe bet that Honda will consider both 4 up riders and single seat versions of the Talon if its launch goes well. This could be a very lucrative segment for them if they do everything right.
i hope part of that strategy includes more work related vehicles because companies like CAT are coming up and showing it can be done. ultimately this will open up a new market attracting a wide range of buyers who might not ever considered a vehicle liek this.
but its tough to say what a company should do, i don't know the details or what processes they should follow.
Honda already has the Pioneer that fulfills that need. It's currently one of their best selling products, so I don't think they need to really expand upon it. Anything they are producing for this segment should solely be focused on performance.
