Any chance for a portal upgrade program to jump from 4" to 6" or 8". Just wondering and figured no harm in asking.:p

Lol! Nothing in the works that I know of. 4"s and 6" use all the same mounting brackets, but 8"s are totally different.

Hum so do you sell the 6" portals by themselves? That would be a fairly easy install as long as ball joints came out easy -- right?

I could keep my current system for rock crawling and have the second set for weekends with lots of mud and water. By chance you wouldn't have a set that were retuned, just the portals should be very cheap -- LOL. May as well go for the whole pie at once -- gobble gobble. The more mods the better !

Another nutty thought, I bought my better half a 2021 Kawasaki Teryx 800 and noticed you have a 4" and 6" lift kit for it. If I were to pick up the 6" kit for her Kawasaki Teryx could I swap out my 4" Portals with the kit and then install the 6" Portals on my ride and install the current 4" Portals on hers using the Kawasaki plates etc. That would put me up another 4 inches and add 4 inches of lift to her Kawasaki. Hers is just an 800 not broken in yet but I think it will do 50 MPH. I figure she would need a frame stiffener and perhaps a clutch kit to handle the Portals. I could also pick up a set of 15" wheels and give her my original 28-inch Talon tires. Her OEM ones are 26 so she would gain another inch with the Talon tires and push the Kawasaki up 5 inches total. I know this is nuts but will it work?

Hey!
Unfortunately they're not going to swap back and forth. The boxes can be mounted on the same mounts for the 4" and 6" portals, but the mounting brackets, hubs, and output shaft would all be very different. I do love seeing a Teryx on portals though!!

OK, switching direction, after a super fun weekend on the rocks at Lazy Springs, I just ordered your SuperATV 1/2 inch skit plate for the Talon 1000X. I wanted something for that A-Arms and trailing arms as well buy you do not offer them. I would have preferred they come from you because of all of the testing you do, but ordered them from Trail Armor and I understand they are a good company. I looked and the bottom of my trailing arms are scuffed a bit. The OEM skit plate is definitely taking a beating. After the ride not sure if I want to go up at all. May want to go from the 1.5 inch spacers to 2 inch. I have two but will need two more -- what do you think?

That's a toughie! Really....all depends on how much work you want to do....or your mud vs. rocks schedule. You can totally go up...do the swap with the Teryx...and slap some big ol' monster 8"s on the Talon...and then swap back to the 4"s with the boxes from the Teryx and your original portal brackets....but that's going to be a full weekend's worth of work. BUT....at the same time, you'll have the best of both worlds.
Decisions, decisions... Lol! I'm not making this any easier, am I? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

So what would be a requires to put 30 inch tires on our 2021 Kawasaki Teryx 800? We picked up a set of rims and tires from a friend and should have them this afternoon. I will get some pictures when I put the tires on. I pulled the 1.5 inch wheel spacers and put 2 inch ones I had on and have the spacers mounted on the Teryx now. Just not sure if they will fit. Wheels are HDs 5 x 2 and 6 x 1 offsets. Looked like the shock in the rear could be a problem so that is where the spacers went.
Front AND rear offset arms....and pull off the recall fender pans, and you'll fit some 30"s on that Teryx with no other lift. I'm not sure if the spacers will help or hurt the tire fitment. May help....and you could possibly leave the riveted recall fender pans in. Not sure though.

Will the front and rear offset arms work with your 2' lift kit? Definitely need spacers in front.

Here are pictures. I will pull rear spacer (1.5 inch) and move to front. If I need 1.5 for front I will order 2.0 inch for Talon and move the front 1.5 inch spacers to the Teryx front.
Front control arm is touching wheel:

Rear shock clearance with 1.5 inch spacer seems OK:

Yep! The 2" lift with the forward AND rear arms will easily clear a 31"s without the fender pans on there. And yeah, you'll definitely need those spacers if you're running the stock 12" wheels.

Call me and see what I can do. Will need heavy duty ball joints, and bushings. I think 1.5 inch lift with the new wheels as they will rub without them see pic with front and 1.5 spacer and see
what you think. Photo on left is with 1.5 inch spacer, photo on right is without and is rubbing.

Done! I'll get you tomorrow!
Excellent, I am looking at the difference between 2 and 6 inch lift and leaning toward the 6 inch. I put 2 inch wheel spacers in the front and it helped but still rubs at full turn in either direction. OK for one weekend or so.
