A friend and I took out 2 new talons, got it muddy. After cleaning, it left spots. Not hard water spots or soap either. Even products like Maguire's swirl remover and polishes wont remove it. Tried 3m as well. Anyone have this happen?

I have a red one. I got it nasty with mine tailings at Silverton, CO. Took it to the car wash and it came out looking like yours and I WAS PISSED. A few days later the spots just disappeared. I didn't do anything to it. This was last August and even today it looks like showroom. I don't understand it. The flat black, however, didn't and hasn't come clean. New bike and I'm already having to use 303 on it to make it look new.
