Hello Talon owners only one ride under my belt but couldn't be more impressed!
Welcome Fast Eddy, I am sure that ride put a grin on your face, it sure did that for me and most Talon owners. Do keep us posted on your experiences and look over the forum there is a lot of good information.

Again welcome and keep riding that is where the true fun is.

Still in the market- gonna run out to westside on Thursday but am open to others as well- was looking at YXZ and mavericks as well but seem driven to the Honda Talon x having the option of automatic or manual shifting and getting away from the cvt. I am moving from a 2013 commander 1000. The Honda's are currently priced at 20,700. And now I no longer see the Talon at westside- so?? Do you mind giving me some insight as to what price I should shoot for? And your feelings on the X? Maybe pm me if you don't want to publish..

Hi Louie, I have an X for one reason, it was used (almost no hours on it) and they reduced the price a bunch. I do like the fact it is a bit smaller in width. I think the Rs real advantage is the 2.5 inch shocks. Comes down to the trails you ride and your driving style. One way or the other the transmission is the Talons is super and I love my X.

North Central Idaho here, 2019 X, looking forward to more trail time this year, still exploring........no other Talons on our rides so far, but there is a large Polaris dealer nearby so that's what most have gone with it seems. Still, have two rides planned this summer so far and always up for impromptu - woods, trails, nothing crazy, too old for that!

Looking at doing the Lolo Motor way and the Magruder trail in July. Any interest?

Possibly.....have tried to ride Magruder last two summers. Harvest and forest fires have gotten in the way. Hoping to go this year. Harvest may start mid-July, one never knows for sure. But keeping it on the summer fun list for sure.
