My talon is not charging my batterie I changed out the regulator/rectifier I also check that stator and it test to be good too I have a new batterie but it’s not charging it

Maybe it is charging but you have an accessory that is draining the battery? Check all grounds on your machine as well.

I am even got a new plug for the rectifier and plug it straight to the batterie and will not charge the batterie and the negative gets really hot I know stator is and regulator are working just fine we tested them

Yes I did it 12.79 when it’s off and when running 12.50

if the negative lead is hot\warm, corrosion or loose connection somewhere , ground pads not clean, etc,

my advice is to check all the ground points including the bolt on the negative side of the battery for tightness and corrosion

that voltage when idling, not knowing what if any accessories, should be above 13.5 volts

With key off, unplug the stator connector and check the 3 wires individually to ground, should not have connection to ground. Check ohms between the wires, should have less than 1 ohm resistance. Start machine and check AC volts coming out of stator. Because its unplugged, its unregulated and should read well over 15 AC volts.
