I'm looking at doing the igr on my 19 1000x. I am running 32" tires and I'm concerned that I might lose too much top end speed with the 25% reduction in gearing. Does anyone have any insight into this setup? Thanks

I was contemplating the 25% IGR so I did all the calculations. Your RPM for any given speed will 25% higher. For instance, what was 6,000 RPM will now be 7,500. Factory speed limiter is 75 MPH and the rev limiter is 8,600 RPM

Stock gears in 6th gear...
At 70 MPH with stock tires, you are turning about 7,900 RPM
At 70 MPH with with 32" tires, you are turning about 6,900 RPM.

25% reduction in 6th gear...
At 70 MPH with with 32" tires, you are turning about 8,600 RPM so your rev limiter will kick in around 70, you will no longer be able to go 75 unless you get a tuner and raise the rev limiter.

FYI, 35" tires with 25% IGR nets the same speed to RPM as stock tires and gears but you cannot fit 35's on an X without forward swept A-Arms.
