Living in SLC and bought this largely for Moab, but really all trails. It is still pretty stock. I bought it with windshield, back window and light bar. It is also street legal.

I'm trying to get larger wheels/tires. I've heard you can void a warranty with some changes. Anybody know what those are?

I've found some great storage box ideas on this site and putting one of those together now.

Any must haves after tires? On the list, Nerf Bars, storage bags, etc.

Thoughts on door lowers?

Thanks!

I’ve put a good 5 figures into my rig. favorite things I did were bigger tires, front bumper and winch, and the flip up front windshield. Get a spare tire and a mount and a jack. I highly recommend a power system for switches and powering up your goodies. aside from that lock your credit files and freeze your credit cards in a block of ice! Lol.

I have a Talon 1000 that is on recall. I don't have a dealer close to me and I don't have a trailer to haul the rig 35 miles to a dealer/service. How do I get the recall fixed?
What’s the recall? If it’s the parking pin collar missing, I wouldn’t suggest doing that yourself. With that said the dealerships are using a little camera to look inside the transmission for the collar. You can rent those or buy one from harbor freight.

I don’t own a trailer either. I rent the $54 a day car hauler from U-Haul. Fits my 2020 1000X-4 LV just right. I would have to rent that trailer 55 times before I reached the cost of buying a trailer. For me that’s about 4 years of riding!

I would only do the lower doors if you need protection from mud or you need to try to keep the cold wind out. I miss the added visual aid of not having the lower doors on mine.
I agree. I have the lower doors front and back, for mud. Turns out the mud is only a problem on the front. I installed Rokblokz as well to keep the mud out of my face.

Nice ride and I love the rocks, wish I was a bit closer but then I would miss all the Florida mud.
:p , Take your time and research all of the options, helps to define the size of tires first makes it easier to select the rest of the upgrades to match. I am sure you will love the Talon and you have one of the best places in the world as a playground, do be safe!

I live in Heber City and although we have Karl Malone dealerships here I was wondering where you bought your Talon. Thanks

I saw where Honda World on 10600 S and I-15, on the frontage road, had the new 2021 x4's. I bought my 2020 from a private seller. Found it on KSL.com. He bought it in April, but his boys preferred dirt bikes. So it had less than 500 miles on it when I bought it. Good luck in your searching!

Great looking ride. I see the new tires, I want to get new bigger tires, would you mind sharing the model tires and rims you bought? Where did you get them?
We really enjoy Hell's Revenge, Fins & Things and Monitor & Merrimac.
The wheels are STI HD A1 bead locks 15”. The tires are 32” BFG KM

I order from KJ Motorsports. Had them in 3 days all mounted and matching black lugs and hardware. Very pleased with their service. Good pricing too.
