Well, we are headed to Hatfield-McCoy in early Oct. First time there and looking for a little advice. Obviously the area is huge, but what trails should we head for. We are not extreme riders, but not afraid to tackle harder stuff. Not rock crawlers, not mudders, love to run trails, climb hills, see great views. We like to keep moving, not stopping to slowly have to work our way through something (meaning, not spending 20 minutes figuring out how to get through). Thanks for the help.

There's a lot of information in the website but not necessarily laid out very well. Keep clicking. Some of it is not obvious but if you continue digging it wlll be revealed.

Spent 3 days there, enjoyed being able to drive the sxs to get food & gas & beer. Good news is that I do not think you can pick an area that does not include fun easy/intermediate/difficult trails. Bad news is that I did not find much diversity in the trails, one area was the same as the others.

Obviously 3 days was not enough to see everything and it has been 8 years so maybe more is now available.
