Anyone have experience with damage to the frame from an accident? Wondering if mine is fixable.

  1. You would need to be a LOT more specific than that and provide some clear pics of the damage. Some frame damage is easy to fix, some is much harder.
  2. Any frame damage can be fixed by the right person, you would be better off talking to a frame/body shop.
  3. Just so you know, Honda does not allow their dealers to "repair" any frame damage, even the slightest. Their policy is to replace the entire frame. This is why you will see mention of a lot of frame replacements when in reality, some of those could have been easily repaired.

Left front tire collided with a F-150 about 40 mph. Frame is wrinkled just behind the front diff. Steering is gone. Dont have any pictures yet. Arms look ok.

Insurance will replace the frame. Kind of hard to believe for $170 a year for insurance, you can wreak havoc on these things and get it taken care of (short of the deductible).

It's hard to imagine the a-arms are ok after a 40mph hit that wrinkled the frame.
