I finally received my new 2022 TalonR FLV on February 3, 2023. My Son and I had placed $1000 non-refundable deposits down on two Talons on May 28, 2022. He wants the Tonic Yellow Pearl, and of course our Dealer can't provide him any information on when it might show up. Like many others have stated here, seems like Honda's communication with their Dealers is non-existent. I did submit a review where I did mention that the Honda Corp should do a much better job at letting their Dealers know about Talon build and delivery status. Anyway here are s couple of pictures of mine.

Very nice! I know what you mean about Honda's non-existent dealer communications. I waited 4 month's longer myself back in 2021 for delivery of my X-4FLV with no idea if or when it would be in. By the way, tell your son that RED is faster.

Funny you should mention that about the Red, because our Dealer actually received two 1000Rs FLVs mine (red & black & a matte black one) which he didn't like but he has now said if the Dealers get another balck/red one he wants it.

Congrats, you are going to love it. We just picked ours up a fews weeks ago. We had the luxery of picking the color we wanted as the dealer had every color available. We picked the red/black.

Funny I ordered mine Red & Black Talon 1000 X 4 live valve first of October dealer said should arrive the 25 did not come they said Honda had pushed it back to November 25 well again didn't come in they have pushed my unit back again to December 27 and December has come and gone by called the dealer again yea changed again to January 22 and today is February 11th and yea yea you know still hasn't arrived

Wow, what dealer (name / location) did you buy from? (Also if you don't mind sharing the out the door price?)

I bought from Mountain Motorsports in Ontario southern California. Paid $25000 OTD for FLV 1000R. The problem out here was the dealer set up fees were/are out of control. A couple of dealers that I went to wanted $5000 & $6000 for set up fees. This was the only dealer that I went that was willing to negoiate. In the end we were happy though. We got the sxs we wanted in the color we wanted and they even gave my wife a new Fox V1 helmet, fox jersey and fox gloves.

I can't believe the dealers there can get away with that. They mark them up and charge state sales tax. They have no mercy. I guess they have enough competing buyers.
