Rode my Talon "x" for the first time yesterday. In places the trail was very rough and at moderate speed It was difficult to keep a constant speed. The engine braking is very aggressive and as I was being bounced around the variations of the foot accelerator caused the machine to "surge" forward / back. I've ridden a RZR for several years and never had this sort of problem. Was wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.

Manually upshift one gear and it will smooth right out

Gas pedal is very slick. I put 2 inch wide self addheasive stair tape.
Works great.

Went for 2nd ride on a very rough rock slow speed trail thats all downhill for 12 miles. Had same issue, surging throttle pedal, agressive braking. I was manually shifting, was very annoying. Its like throttle way to sensitive.

I like AT mode best for most ridding.
I put stair stick tape on throttle pedal it made a big difference.

careful i had both tires pop of the rim and flip me over bending my roll cage among other things after owning it for an hr unreal

First time with serious riding for me today and the throttle is sensitive for me also,,,, Rolling up on a trailer is tricky to do it smoothly.
