I’ve looked until I’m cross eyed and haven’t found the answers to my question.
I don’t have enough Honda differential oil for my oil change on rear differential. I do have some royal purple synthetic and some Lucas synthetic 75/90.
Which one would you use.

The differentials need GL-5 hypoid gear oil. I use this:
AmazonSmile: Lucas Oil LUC10043 Oil SAE 80W-90 Heavy Duty Gear Oil - 1 Quart : Automotive

Ive heard that 75W-90 is too light for the differentials and doesn't contain the correct additives for hypoid gears.

Well I wasn’t sure if I was stoked or toked until I was putting the oil in and saw the part #written by the bar code. It match 10043. So I’m stoked. All oils and filters are changed and ready for Indian mountain next week. 😎

Rocky Mountain atv stiffed me on a wheel so looks like I’ll be on the tensor’s again.
