Just found this update on YouTube that claims deliveries of the Talon are beginning early April. Allocations are looking to be very low, so if you have an interest in this machine best to reserve one asap.

Wow the fact that Honda is already halving orders isn't a great sign for availability. There are probably only going to be a few thousand models made for the first year run.

I had a feeling there wouldn't be a whole lot of these to go around for launch, which makes me worry about markups as well. At least its only a few month wait.

Can't wait to see these roll out and even how people pair them with other Honda products

Big dealer markups are going to turn my interest sour. At that point it would make more sense to just buy something used from Polaris, Yamaha etc.

I always thought that was one of many reasons for Honda to launch down segment versions.

Aggressive markups will be a deal breaker for a lot of people, and we've just what's happened from other limited production models in their lineup like the CTR.

In that case Honda could easily get away due to the fact competition is limited.
Here with ATV's that's not the case, instead there's increasing competition hence going segment.

The stiffer the competition, the better quality of products that get released. The Talon probably wouldn't have been given this kind of equipment if these benchmarks hadn't already been set by Polaris and Yamaha.
