I had ordered mine March 20 2020. I picked it up December 19 2020. Merry Christmas to me. BUT I did have to deal with the plant shut down. Which my dealer did call and make me aware of and was will to give deposit back. I was told mine was one of the first to go out after reopening. But who knows if that is true.

Thanks....I read, about shortages on Wiring Harness and Seats....I think...
Wondering if they are Currently shipping Talons out to Dealers...
I had a ship date of June 29th on mine...

Same here. Our Live Valve was supposed to be delivered March 31-June 1 but has been pushed back to June 29 now. Which sucks because we have a big ride scheduled at Ride Royal Blue the beginning of July...

OMG, I sold my 2019 Pioneer the second day after advertising on FB...
We rode 2-3 times locally every week...but Just Got to Wait on Phone Call.

I'd suggest calling around, I decided I wanted one and called a couple hundred shops (yes.. hundreds, I was determined). I wrote down the names of those receiving a talon within an acceptable time frame then put money down on the one that was coming the quickest.
Some shops told me they had a year wait list, shocked. I'm on the east coast if this helps any.
Edit: I was also looking for a Honda talon 1000x 4 live valve. So I found the most rare one too, guess I got lucky.

I was looking for standard 1000X; didn’t do your professional job, good thing though or I would have been ranting about dealers that ask me pay complete ridiculous total amount or others that ask me to pay a deposit “Non Refundable” with No Promise Date. I went with a Trusted Dealer and took the next 1000X coming in, which happened to be the Fox Live....

Glad you got one secured, that's what matters.
Out of the two dealerships that had one coming in relatively soon (within a 3-hour drive) I only placed a couple hundred dollars as a down payment to hold it. There both promised a refund if it fell through on my end or theirs.
It was a Honda Powersports dealership which I ended up purchasing from though.
I've heard stories of others driving across the country to pick theirs up, I guess when people want their toys they'll drive distances for it!

Yes, I would have driven 200 miles...BUT I won’t pay a ridiculous Price...
I started this post trying to find If Honda was actually Shipping Units to Dealers.

Same experience here for us. Several push backs of the shipping dates. It was about 4.5 months for delivery of our LV from date of order

Thats because just out with F150 Ford with Fox Live...prob not funny...
I just hope they can ship by end June...fingers crossed...deposit payed...

If anyone is near Ohio, call Just for fun Honda in Middlefield Ohio (iirc it's Middlefield). While I didn't have the best experience with the salesman, they seemed to get the side by side in quickly.
