Hi,
Wondering if anyone is using an anti-theft device on their Talon (other than the great Hillbilly Brake), like a gps tracker? Have been using on other units, and wanting to know what/where on unit installed?

Thanks!

Thanks, cutoff switch, good idea - where did you find that switch, looks easy to hide.....

On the gps tracker point, we like to see the tracks sometimes on new trails, so still curios if anyone has one on their Talon (not a handheld) Thanks!!

Another idea are these quick release steering wheels. You can just take the steering wheel with you, plus there are some really cool steering wheels out there to pick from!👍

Have seen some people using a heavy cable bike lock or chain and padlock through steering wheel and around roll bar as a deterrent.

Thanks guys, some good ideas to think over....currently using Hillbilly Brake with a lock, so far so good. Also have a tracking device, used prior to Hillbilly, which would tell me where it was if it wandered off without permission. Have the tracker in it, just not permanently mounted yet.......do not want it discovered.

Doesn't that bring the steering wheel back towards you too far? When I first looked at these it was said that it brought the wheel back almost 3 inches to the driver. Is this true and if not, what type did you use ?

Large chain and a HD M/C type padlock. Thru rear wheel spokes to frame. They would have to carry if off, that is too much work and takes too much time. Makes it not worth so much for what it would take time wise to steal it. Hopefully they will go and look for an easier one to steal! Slow the perp down if they try to steal it, they usually want a quick job and will leave if it takes too long.

Just installed the Viper power sports GPS.

Can always know where the machine is if stolen

Took my time and wrapped all the wiring in loom to match factory wiring

And hid module deep under tunnel

Last put battery back up in. Will transmit signal for 30 days after battery is cut

Their is a monthly fee and works with cellular signal

I had a anti theft device installed by a professional audio shop, an activation device goes on my key chain. out of sight. Best move I made was buying the Lawrance GPS by PCI My Dealer sold it and installed it. I
t has a back up camera also works going forward, plus great viewing of trails, Honda has a mount for it, very happy. about $1,200 installed I bought the camera from Best Buy. I did not buy the GPS satellite tracking dome, it works fine without it. Pilotom San Diego
