A 6+1 (+45) will put you closer to stock scrub radius and width. Some run a 4+3 and like it. It will make the car feel different in how it handles. I personally went with a 5+2 (+38) offset. My car should be a couple inches wider than stock. With the same offset all the way around you will want 1.5" spacers in the rear to even out the back to the front.
Installed my custom air intake and a pre-filter with Outerwear cover. All tubing and connectors are Spectre brand purchased from JEGS and Amazon. Filter is a UNI two stage. I change out the UNI with a clean one every 4 or five rides.
I installed the RC2 filter today just to have something better than stock until I can get a good air intake system figured out with a pre-filter. I don't like anything I have seen on the market so far. At least I can clean the filter now without too much of a hassle.
Has anyone installed retractable seatbelt harnesses on their Talon yet? I know Polaris has the “Click 6” six point harness that has retractable shoulder straps so you have full upper body movement like a car’s shoulder belt. Can Am makes a similar 4 point system that works the same way. Everyone...
