Honda has already confirmed an extensive OEM accessories catalog for the Talon that will continue to grow following its launch. Similar to what they’ve done with the Pioneer line, they will revisit this parts list based on consumer demands and needs. We also expect that there will be many third party aftermarket companies coming on board with support for Honda’s newest side by side, offering things like lift kits, snorkels, arched a-arms and more.
With the Talon set to arrive at dealerships beginning in April, the main question is when these accessories will be made available to order. When compared to the accessory options for other manufacturers, Honda has previously come up short, but the Talon is looking to change that. With personalization being so important to owners, Honda has finally taken aftermarket support into account during the initial design process.
Around 40 products have already been listed across several different sites and this will expand in the coming months. For those looking to make the Talon more road-worthy, there are things such as a horn kit, glass windshield, rear view mirror, side mirrors, and auxiliary LED lights. On the other end, increasing durability and utility can be done with an assortment of storage bags, A-Arm guards, skid plates, heavy-duty bumpers, and rear window panels.
The full list of accessories for the Talon can be found on Honda’s official powersports site, with the majority of them being advertised as coming soon. If you are unhappy with a given product it appears they will be offered with 30-day money back returns.
Honda has made customization a priority for the Talon and we are eager to see what else comes to market following its official release. We hope that many of these OEM products are made available soon, so buyers have the opportunity of having them installed by their dealer, prior to taking delivery.
